DIABETIC EDCATR RN-UVMC

1.     Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required. 

2.     BSN required.  Master’s Degree preferred.  

3.     Five (5) years of clinical experience with a minimum of three (3) years in area of specialty. 

4.     Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or working toward certification in area of specialty within two (2) years of hire. 

5.     Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and coordinate programs with a variety of healthcare personnel and outside individuals or organizations.   

6.     Analytical skills necessary in order to devise appropriate work schedules, to develop and assist in implementation of nursing policies and procedures and evaluation of nursing care delivered to area of specialty.

7.     Knowledge of personal computers to include MicroSoft Office Programs (Word, Excel).
